According to the previous announcement, the program was supposed to take place at 3 pm. However, many people started arriving at Suhrawardy Udyan from the morning.
Many people were seen participating in the program with various placards, banners, and festoons protesting the Palestinian flag and the Israeli attack on Gaza.
Many of the participants in the program were seen holding placards and festoons calling for an end to the Israeli "genocide" in Palestine, a boycott of Israeli products, and a boycott of America and India.
Present on the program stage were leaders of BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, Jatiya Nagorik Party, Hefazat-e-Islam, several Islamic speakers, and the Khatib of the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram.
Some of those who came to participate in the program told BBC Bangla that they participated in the program to demand an end to the Israeli attacks on Gaza, Palestine, and to call on the Muslim world to be vocal.
